More. More. More.
We’re subconsciously being told that we are never doing enough to be our best Selves from the media, our coworkers, friends, family, our inner voices... Let’s shift that into something more loving.
Instead of driving ourselves into the ground trying to be healthier, prettier, skinnier, or whatever. Just honor your body, honor your Self. Love yourself where you are right now.
There is nothing wrong with making self improvements so long as you’re doing it out of love for yourself. You’re going to feel much better about doing “more” if you’re doing it out of love rather than hate, anyways. Plus, the results you’re seeking will come to you much quicker if you’re enjoying the road to self improvement.
That is the number one secret to starting to call forth true health and happiness into your life. Love. Love for yourself and for others. We are more likely to cause ourselves injury if we try to improve ourselves from a place of negativity, because we live in a culture where unhappiness = punishment.
So, my Wellness Wednesday tip is to just start loving yourself. Really truly!
